Crater Lake

We left Portland, and arrived at Crater Lake in the afternoon.

 

Wizard Island

Now isn't that the bluest lake you've ever seen?  It's the bluest I have... The lake is pretty chilly.  People take boat rides to Wizard Island.  They are allowed to take a swim in there, but many don't stay in more than 10 minutes.  It's freezing!!

Shane reserved a really nice campsite.  We loved it here a lot.  Too bad we only got to stay one night.

If you look closely, you can see the marshmallows.  Camping is never complete without a good ol' s'more.  More Crater Lake details tomorrow.  Today was more of a driving and relaxing day.
