One Year Ago...

Last Labor Day Weekend, we received the keys to our new house.  We immediately went to work with the transformation.  It's been a wonderful year with my hubs.  I'm so proud of him and his whole family.  =)

Then...

Now...

As you can see, the outside is still a work in progress.  The space in front of the wall is going to be grass.  The space behind it will be a cement courtyard.  We're going to stucco the wall, and paint it the same color as the house.  We're going to cap off the wall with something like this....

The backyard is no longer a wild forest, but it's a field of weeds.  =P

It's the opposite side, but you get the idea...=)

On the inside, we added recessed lighting, and painted the kitchen white.  Sorry guys, no pictures at this moment.
