We tried some crumpets at The Crumpet Shop.
We tried the homemade jam and nutella one. The jam was really tasty. Nutella was gooooooey. A little crumpet wasn't enough for breakfast, so we bought some Piroshky, Piroshky...and coffee...
Satisfied, we searched for the gum wall. We walked up and down Post Alley looking for it.
We ended up going the wrong way! Still a nice walk though. We figured out the right spot was down the stairs from the throwing fish area. Luckily, we didn't give up.
I really wanted a piece! =P No, no, I didn't take any. Gross!
Funny story...Doug took some shots with the SLR, and kept looking to the right. I was wondering what he was looking at, but didn't think anything of it. I was just working on posing for the camera. When we finished, I asked him what happened. He told me there was a drifter guy who just took our Piroshky, Piroshky and coffee. We texted my cousin, and they freaked! Doug told me to write, "We were mugged!." Needless to say, they were super worried. Sighs...I shouldn't do everything my hubby tells me to do. =P
We went back to Pike's at noon to meet up with my cousins. It's a lot more crowded during the day.
Now the real fun begins! Those were our pre-road trip adventures. Now it's time for the real deal!
First off Grand Coulee Dam. This is on the eastern side of Washington. About 4 hours away. The drive was scenic.
Fast forward, 4 hours later...Grand Coulee!

We arrived around 5 pm, and we were, yep, hungry!
We setup a picnic at the park to watch the laser show that began at 10pm. The laser show wasn't exactly what I imagined it to be, but it was still a fun way to hang out.

| The watermelon was so juicy sweet! We ate it for 7 days. |

| So bright for 9pm! |
We stayed at the Coulee House for the night.
It was a nice clean place to stay. We had the corner front room which had a balcony to look out from. Very nice. =) Around 4am, there was a lightning storm. Doug woke up and got photos with the SLR. Sorry guys, I won't be posting...All these pictures are from my camera phone...unedited. Yep, I'm too lazy to pull off the photos...
