End of June already!

My last post was at the end of April, which means we should have accomplished something!

Here's a list of things we did in no particular order:

• Put up a back splash in our master bathroom sink.  Still needs to be grouted.
• HIRED someone to stump grind our backyard.  They'll be coming this Friday.  We just didn't have the time or energy to do it ourselves.
• Replaced some roof tiles, but need a few more to go.
• Finished digging the main water line, so we can install a new water line.
• Installed bathroom fixtures for all three bathrooms ~ towel racks, toilet paper holders, and replaced one faucet.
• Celebrated Mother and Father's Day.
• Attended 3 graduations and one engagement party.  Congrats Diana, Lisa, and Bryan for graduating! Also congrats to Melanie and Josh on your engagement!  Sorry, we can't be at the wedding.
• Congrats! Patty had her baby, Emily!   I have yet to meet her.  Also my cousin Lan had her baby, Tyler!  He's so small, and cried whenever I held him.  My maternal instincts are minimal. (if any) Handsome little one though.  =)
• Subscribed to Netflix streaming only - saw the first season of 24.  Now we're both currently having action dreams in our sleep.  No one has died yet in my dreams.
• Read Julia Child's My Life in France / Tiny Fey's Bossypants / Mindy Kaling's Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? / Dick Van Dyke / Audrey Hepburn. It's been a lot of fun reading about people.  =)  I wonder who to read about next.
• Took Indie to the chili cook off, where everyone wanted to pet him.  He felt so loved.  Also took Indie to the dog beach, so he could roam free.  He loves it so much.
• Made The Best Lasagna. Ever. (meaty!) and Banana Muffins (SOSO good!) and pizza using Trader Joe's pizza dough adding everything on it.  (YUM!)
• Went to San Jose to visit family.  They wanted us to move up there!  Hmm...not ready for that just yet. However, not throwing it out of the window in the future.
• Booked a road trip with my cousins, who just got MARRIED!  YAY!!  Best news of the year!  =)  =)   =)  Congrats to you both!
