Last week I drove by to check out our house. I noticed a few trees had been chopped down (yay!) We're excited because this is going to be a lot of work.
Sunday, we drove by the house again. We met our future next door neighbor. He's super nice! He's a retired, roughly 85 year old man full of stories. =) He said our house was tented last week, which explains why the trees had been chopped down.
Monday, we drove by the house again. The pest control company was there, and they were replacing the fascia boards around the house. We ran into the neighbors again, and they invited us into their home. Lovely couple they are. =) They told us stories of their children and grandchildren and great grandchilren. We found out stories about the history of city. Doug recognized one of their grandchildren who happened to play baseball with him from 5-15 years old. Amazingly small world!

I was one day late on this post, but I wanted to say happy one month of being married to Lisa and Kevin!! They got married last month after 8 years of dating. Congratulations you two! Love you guys!!!
