We're getting them today!!
I almost failed to mention that I met some really great people at the Newport one while waiting in line. The lady was so nice. She stood in line to buy an iPad 2 for her brother who lives in NY. She got one for herself last week and loves it.
Around 545AM, it started raining. I got a little worried, but I was going to stake it out. The security guard let us move under the overhang, so thank goodness for that.
Around 6:15AM, it down poured like no other for about 10 mins. I would have been one soakin' lady. haha Anyways, there was this nice guy that offered us his rug, so we could sit on it. Boy, did my butt warm up quick! It was so nice that I didn't have to sit on freezing cement. =) I'm going to keep a rug in my car for cases like this. You just never know!
Pretty great adventure huh? Even though I didn't get the iPad 2, I had a lot of fun waiting with people who wanted one too. I'm glad Doug and I split up to wait. He's bringing them home as we speak! Can wait to charge it up! =)
