Our Honeymoon Plans

We've decided that Greece is going to wait. It's not in our budget right now to go over there, especially when we're trying to save for a house. Instead, we've decided we're going to take a road trip. Last weekend, Hanh and Hoang took a spur of the moment trip up north. They went up pch, and the pictures looked gorgeous! I want to have an adventure like that with Doug. Why not it be our honeymoon?!

Here's our a list of sites we want to stop at: Sedona, Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, possibly Yellowstone in a span of two weeks. We're going to try to camp as much as we can. We received a tent, stove, lanterns, and pots from our wedding presents. We just need some sleeping bags now. If we go to Yellowstone, I think we'll definitely need to lodge. It's going to be cold! Our plan is to head there mid to late May.

Alternative trip would be an East Coast road trip. Fly to the east, then drive back here. We could attend Hanh's graduation from law school. We could also see the beautiful states on the east, then do a road trip back home. This option isn't as certain because if we do a road trip with Hanh back, it's not really a honeymoon. Just a trip. =)

Doug's been sick since Thursday. I played Monopoly with him Friday night. It was fun. He taught me all his tricks. Thanks Doug! He's cute when he plays. He gets super excited. =D

Saturday, I went on a hike called Mishe Mokwa in Malibu. That was the last trail I've ever been on. 6 miles. The view was gorgeous from the top. We saw the mountains on one side, and the ocean on the other. Tough hike due to many inclines. I'm tired. It's time for bed now, so I'll leave you with this...

I noticed today that I drink a lot of tea. See...
Luckily it's only a weeks worth. So it's not so bad.
