It's Catch Up Time

Sean's on his 3rd week of tumbling class.  So far he likes it.  The class begins with a warm up.  Then they walk up a ladder, and then swing on a rope.  There's more activities too.  The kids gravitate towards an apparatus and the instructor helps them.  He was daring today at home.  I wonder if it's because of the class.  He climbed up a box to get onto a bench.  He wouldn't have done that before.  We have more baby proofing to do!

I enrolled Sean in a music class, but there was only 2 weeks left of the program.  It starts up again in the fall.  The teacher is super nice.  She said that Sean is a really good baby, and that I'm lucky to be staying at home with him.  I love hearing things like that.  It makes me feel like I've made the right choice in being home with Sean.  I love being able to bring him to all these activities, and being there to watch his face light up with excitement.  It's the best feeling in the world.

Sean's walking around a lot more.  He's getting more confidence inside the house.  Outside, he's a lot more cautious, which is great.  I don't want him running off yet.  Must get one of those leash backpacks.  haha

He's modeling.  =)

I went to visit my cousin last week.  We ate Japanese food.  Yum!  Hit the spot.  I miss Japanese food.

These were so fun!

Yesterday, I fed Sean some yogurt.  He gave himself a facial.  haha He's so funny!  He liked the yogurt.  =)

We also went to the library.  I love that he picks up books all the time.  He's starting to sit next to me during the day while I read.  It's so cool!

Today, we went swimming.  I didn't take any pictures.  =(  I just bought a Puddle Jumper life jacket.  It's a little big, but it worked perfectly!  I was able to put Sean in the water, and just hold his hands.  He just floated toward me.  Then he saw a noodle, so he grabbed that and let it guide him.  I held his feet from behind, and moved them in a kicking motion.  Then I turned him on his back, so he was belly up.  The life jacket made him float, and I kept him relaxed by counting slowly to 5.   When I got to 5, I lifted him, jumped up and down / in and out of the water.  He likes that a lot.  I did that same sequence a few times to get him comfortable floating on his back.  I even counted to ten, and he did it!  It was so fun!  It's supposed to be a warm weekend, so hopefully we can go back again.
