I love this picture. This was Sean this morning after breakfast.
Today was totally opposite of yesterday. Sean was begging me for a nap today at 1015 am. I put him down pretty easily, and then quickly did my chores. I always have to squeeze as many things as possible because his second nap is harder than the first. I kept looking at the clock.
1030 am do dishes.
1130 am, still sleeping. I decided to eat an early lunch, and catch up on some emails. I thought he was moving around noon, and would wake up. Nope. I tossed in some laundry.
1230 pm, still sleeping. I figure I'll reorganize the kitchen cabinets a little. I moved the cups into a different cabinet, so I could make this one the spice area. What a difference baskets make. =)
115 pm, text hubs I think Sean is sick. He's been sleeping for almost 3 hours. He never does this. He even had pretty good sleep last night, just the initial sleep was hard to do. What's wrong?
130 pm, he wakes up with big smiles. I fed him lunch without any problems. No toys or anything, just his milk and me singing him some songs.
I'm so glad he got so much sleep!! =)
------------------------------------
Sean received a good amount of toys for his birthday. I put them all in the closet, so he doesn't open everything all at once. Today I opened up some Mega Blocks. We got him this for his birthday. I tried piecing together the train, but Sean kept on taking it apart. Here he is in action, taking apart my train. haha
He liked the large square pieces most. I tried teaching him to press the pieces together to make something. He was excited to see that he could make them stick together, but didn't understand the concept yet. He just stuck it in his mouth after playing with it awhile. Oh well, he'll learn eventually.
--------------------------------
Sean also had his one year check up today. He's 20th% for weight and 9th% for height. That's about right for what his past records show too. I thought he had a growth spurt after his 3 hour nap today! haha oh well...28.5 inches is great in my opinion. I mean he started at 19.5 inches long. That's almost 10 inches in a year. That's great!
