2 YEARS!!!!

Most people get married all in one day, but we got married in two.  We had a tea ceremony on one day, and the western ceremony on the second day.  So we are celebrating twice!  We celebrated last night, and will continue celebrating today.  It's our anniversary of two years!  We're keeping it low key, and may have started a new tradition.  =) 

Last year we were in Australia for our honeymoon.  We were in Cairns and cooked shabu shabu at our apartment stay.  It was really relaxed! 

This year we're just settling into our new home.  =)  Doug took the week off to work on the house, so he surprised me by preparing dinner!  Yay!  We had shabu shabu!  So every year, I think we'll be having that.  It's such good stuff, and it's been so chilly at our house.  Perfect!  The heating ducts needed to be taped up, and Doug repaired them yesterday.  We finally have a warm and cozy home.  Love it!

We also busted out our wedding presents!  We finally get to use them =)  The bowls are from Winnie.  The wok is from my cousin Danny.  Thanks to you both!  We've actually used the wok on several shabu sbabu occasions already.  Best present we've used so far!
