3rd time's a charm!

It's been a crazy two weeks of thoughts.  We apologize for leaving everything in the dark.   There were lots of indecisiveness going on, so I didn't want to blog about it until we were sure what the plan was.  I didn't want you guys to start thinking we change our minds all the time!  We do!  But we're more of the go with the flow people.  So...

Here's the plan - we both quit our jobs, and move to Colorado to buy a home for really cheap.  For the prices of the homes in CA, we could buy 2 homes and a condo in Colorado.  Rent out two properties and we wouldn't even need to work.  We could start up a business, and do what we really love.  Colorado has a small town feel.  We love the outdoors, and there's lots of hiking trails.  It's only a two hour flight back home.  We would have a real snow white winter.  Mountains are super close.  We convinced ourselves, we're moving to Colorado!

Do you believe us?  We're really considering this!

Well...

It was a nice dream until we found out....We won the bidding war against four other people!!  The house is ours!! Can you believe it???  The one house I blogged the least about, and it's going to be our home!  You guys don't even know the details of the home.  haha Sorry, I don't have any photos right now, but I can tell you this....It's a tropical paradise!  that's real estate lingo for it's got a lotta trees! =P

We're going to be opening escrow this week!  Our home inspection is scheduled for this Tuesday.  The bank is going to pay for the termite damage.  It's a lot, but they warranty it for 3 years.  They're even going to tent the place.  We're super excited!  We found out on Thursday that we won the bidding war, but I finally got excited when we signed the papers today!

It's really real!  We're going to be closing by the end of August!  We're trying for three weeks though.  Let's cross our fingers everything goes smoooothly!

Don't worry!  I'll post pictures of the house.  You'll see what I mean when I say a lot of trees.  I'm going to need Yard Crashers!
