Shorts!

I'm continuing to sew at least one item a week!  Woo hoo!  This week I made shorts from the tutorial off of the Grosgrain website.  She's having a free pattern month!  I've made one other item from this event. 

Here are my shorts -



I love them!  I switched it up from the original by adding belt loops instead of an elastic band.  These shorts are going to be paired with my white top.  [sorry, shoulda taken a photo of the combo] This is going to be my Monday outfit for Cancun.  =)  What do you think?

*side side note - We might be opening escrow in as early as two weeks on the house!!!  YAYAYAYA!!

    I love the shorts!!! I can't believe you are sewing one.thing.a.week!!! Wow! That's so great....and you sew so well I can't believe it - just like your bag, this totally looks like something that was bought in a store. Nice job!!! :)
