Just checking in...

Are you wondering why I'm blogging while on vacation?  Well...We purchased the internet for a day because I wanted to book tickets to Chichen Itza.  Too bad, I didn't look at the days of the week.  Turns out I booked the tickets for tomorrow instead of today.  We realized this when we were waiting for the bus to come.  I checked the time and date, and saw the date was the 30, and not the 31st.  We're leaving tomorrow, so there goes the tickets.  =/  On the website, it's Monday-Saturday.  I'm used to Sunday-Saturday, and we were in a rush when we bought them....Yea, I'm kinda bummed.    If you book tickets, make sure you have the correct date. 

Other than that, we're having a great time in Cancun so far.  Saturday, we went to Xplor.  Yep!  I ziplined.  Holy cow, I was scared!  I went tandem with Doug once, and it was just waaaay to fast.  I rode with Jenny instead.  There were 7 ziplines in one route.  I was scared, but shut my eyes.  That made things a lot better.  =)  Going through that many lines, I sorta got over the fear towards the end.  The part I liked best was the last zipline into the water.  =)  We didn't buy any photos from Xplor.  The prices were just too much, but here's a photo of our friends on one of the ziplines.  (I think it's them)

Here's our other friends in the amphibious vehicles.  This went through dirt and water.  Little bumps here and there.  Fun to drive on a track, but nothing like real off roading.

Overall, we had a lot of fun as a group.  =)

I had a slight eye infection from Saturday.  Sunday I woke up and my left eye swelled up so bad.  I iced it most of the morning.  The wedding was at 5PM, so I had plenty of time to make it look better.  The ceremony was really beautiful.  They said their own vows.  Too sweet.  =)  Aww...weddings... Oh one funny thing!  When they did the bouquet toss, all the single ladies had to go catch it.  One other girl who just got engaged and I were the only ones who DIDN'T qualify for the bouquet toss!  I sure feel OLD!  haha

We leave tomorrow.  I think today, we're going to the market and renting a private boat to ride around the lagoon.  I definitely didn't get tan like I thought I would during this trip.  I'm okay with that.  =P
