Thai Iced Tea

Just made this refreshing iced tea for a warm windy day!

Detailed recipe found on Instructables.

Things you need:
2/3 cup Thai tea leaves (found at Asian markets)
1 2/3 cup water
1/2 sugar
1 1/2 cup evaporated milk (12 oz can)
Makes two cups

Prepare yourself for cleanup by having a trash bag handy.  =)

Steps:
Boil water and remove from heat.
Add tea leaves.  *careful I added it all at once and it created some explosions!
Timer for 4 minutes and let leaves soak.
Sieve the leaves.
Pour liquid into heat friendly pitcher.
It gets messy!  All the tea leaves got on everything.  (I should've taken a picture)
Thai tea is orange!  Everything turned orange!  haha
Have fun!

Comments on the site suggested making a simple syrup (Boil equal parts water and sugar).  Worked like a charm!  I didn't have to worry about the sugar not dissolving.

Really sweet!  I think I'll have to reduce the sugar next time.  =P
