I think I was a little too ambitious with my challenge. Time allotted anyways. I'm getting there. Slowly, but surely. Sometimes I forget to factor in all the other things I have to keep up with. =P I won't be able to create one project a day, but I will complete each one...eventually.
I learned a new trick yesterday which should speed up my sewing. I stopped by Moore's to pick up some new needles. The people there are great! I've been having trouble with the sewing machine lately. It's been skipping loops. It especially happens when I try to make the machine go faster. They suggested I clean the area around the bobbin. Were they right! I opened it up, and there was such much lint stuck in there. No wonder it hasn't been doing well. It's congested! I cleaned it up, and it's good as new.
That's actually how I was able to make the top so quickly. It looks like a smock right now. The kind kids wear when they are getting their hairs cut. =) This top doesn't have a stretchy neck. Not realizing this I cut the hole a little too small, so my head gets stuck. I'm going to open it up more tonight. That should do it. Yay!
