More Classics!

Classics of a different kind....Jane Eyre to be precise.  =)

I remember the first time I heard of Jane Eyre.  I bought Jane Eyre from a book fair in 5th grade because I wanted to grab the thickest book available.  I remember attempting to read it, but the language was way beyond my understanding.   Also the font was so small, I needed a magnifying glass.   I read up to page 7 and stopped.  I still have the book.  So much passion, I think I have to read this one.

I bring up Jane Eyre because I just came from watching Jane Eyre with Doug's mom.  It was girl's night on a Tuesday!  The movie draws you in from the beginning.  It's dark and passionate.  You could just feel Mr. Rochester and Jane's relationship.  Both characters were amazing!  I'm glad I didn't know the story because I would never have guessed what happens next.  Great story, and I think I must go watch other movies of this period now....Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice (which I've seen), Wuthering Heights, Emma, etc.

Yay classics!
