House Hunters

We've been searching for a house on and off again for half a year. It's been a great search! We've met lots of friendly realtors who offer to help us out. I think we finally stuck with one that we really like.

Here are a few homes we liked, but just had to pass on because...

This house was the first one I loved. It has five bedrooms and two baths. The outside was super gorgeous, as you can see in the picture above. On the side of the house behind the gate there's room for project cars etc. There's a fireplace downstairs, and one in the master bedroom. Really romantic. =) However, with this home, I learned that the master bedroom must have an attached bathroom. Three bedrooms sharing one common bath would be real tough.

Second home above. 5 car garage! You wonder how? It's a 12,000 sqft lot. Would never expect it huh? Outside was well taken care of. I loved this house, even better than the first. Extermely open. The house didn't feel too big or too small. Two downsides....master was a tad on the small side, and it was barely out of our price change. (50k too much!)

Outside, not too pleasing, but inside- bamboo and limestone flooring throughout, and the backyard was super quiet. Just like a regular nature hike. Negatives- kitchen had pink stoves and ovens! Definitely could sell on ebay, but I wasn't too big a fan of the kitchen.

More houses sure to come, but we might be delaying our search until August/Septemberish. We'll see how the economy is doing the next few months.
