Seriously, where does the time go?

I finished making a purse last week for a friend's birthday. I love how it turned out. I photographed the heck out of it. It was really tough to give away, which means I'll just have to make another one! I used this design from Noodleheads.

I also started cutting up fabric squares for my sister's top.
Everyone thinks it's an apron, but it's more of a wrap. I've never done any quilting before. This should be pretty interesting trying to keep it all straight. =P

My cousin also asked me (okay, I volunteered!) to make a Halloween costume for Frances. She got this beautiful gold mask, and I have gold flowly fabric. Here's the mask on top of the gold fabric.

They look so pretty together! I told her I was gonna make a cape, and she wanted a dress. I made her this purple dress before. She probably wants something more elegant. =) She chose red. Wish me luck!

Sewing will be postponed this week because we're going to San Francisco this weekend!! Yay! I'm in need of a vacation away from all this heat.
