Maker Faire

Back in May, Doug and I went to Maker Faire in San Mateo. I think it was the longest road trip we've ever been on together. The drive was great! We made it there about noon on Saturday. Here's some pictures we took from the day.

Gotta love mac!

I think Doug recognized the guy who was working on this little vehicle.

I think these are all batteries. It's part of an all electric car.

I loved this! Gotta love the use of human energy. =) The parents are powering the swings by biking, while the kids are having fun on the swings.

This is beyond larger than life! Don't know the dude...

This dragon talks! Some guy rigged it up, and had it going up and down his street.

Souvenir shirt =)

We made our way to Half Moon Bay Sunday morning. The drive was beautiful! There's a lot of fruit stands along the route. We didn't stop this time around. For breakfast we had Flying Fish Grill recommended on yelp. We tried the fish tacos. They were okay. They tasted really healthy. I think I like the California Fish Grill more.

On our way home, we stopped by Splash Cafe for clam chowder. Yum yum! It sure hits the spot. =) We're going to Pismo this weekend for our annual camping trip. Splashes here we come again!
