The books somehow all disappeared. The shelves are usually more stocked, more organized, more choices, more everything. I wonder what happened. I went in looking for a hiking book. No luck. However, everything is a dollar, so I had to pick something! I walked out with 12 somethings. =) Couldn't resist. Even though there's lack of choice and organization, there were some good ones left.
Here's the collection:
- A Long Way Down - Nick Hornby
- About a Boy - NH
- Speaking with the Angel - NH
- How to be Good - NH
- Greece - Lonely Planet
- The Photo Book
- Bleachers - John Grisham (for Doug)
- Jane Austen Book Club - Karen Joy Fowler
- A Beautiful Mind - Slvia Nasar
- Snow Crash - Neal Stephenson (for Doug)
- Irreverent guide to Walt Disney World (we're leaving Saturday!)
- Prague - Arthur Phillips
Then went to Costco and got a couple more:
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
- Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
Then went to Borders and got a couple more:
- The Cook's Book: Concise Edition
- Simply Piano
Funny how I save money on the frivolous things, but splurge on books. =P One Dollar Bookstore is a chain. I have to go to the other locations. I wonder what their selections are like. Next time!
